GENERAL SUMMARY

The Human Resources Director contributes to a qualified, motivated, and productive workforce by overseeing the overall strategic, tactical, and administration functions of human resources, and by promoting ethical behavior, integrity, honesty and loyalty throughout the company with a special focus on people, processes, and culture. In addition there may be future opportunities for this position to grow as human resources, finance, administration, and information technology could potentially be organized under the same leadership.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Provides overall leadership and guidance to human resources, and is involved in all phases of talent acquisition, career development, workforce planning, policy development, training, compensation, benefits, leadership development, and health and safety.
  2. Translates the strategic and tactical business plans into human resource strategic and operational plans designed to meet the growing organization's human capital needs, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, leadership development, organizational development, corporate culture, and training.
  3. Leads the design, development and implementation of programs, policies, and strategies tailored to meet organizational needs across the company.
  4. Leads and/or participates in performance management, benefit planning, benefit renewals, quarterly compensation reviews, employee relations issues, succession planning, and other similar human resource activities.
  5. Serves as a thought leader and coach for motivating, engaging, developing, and retaining talent throughout the organization.
  6. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  7. Develops an effective and efficient human resources team that provides outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.
  8. Provides advice and counsel to executives, managers, supervisors and employees regarding personnel practices, policy, safety practices and employment laws.
  9. Accountable for establishing a safe workplace compliant with applicable federal and state regulations. Adherence to and enforcement of these practices to promote a safety first culture.
  10. Participates on committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Required:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  2. 7-10 years of experience in Human Resources.
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in lead or supervisory role.
  4. Valid Driver’s License.

Desired:
  1. PHR/SPHR, SHRM or other professional certifications.
  2. Management experience in one or more of the following practices:

SALES/FINANCIAL ANALYST

Under general supervision, the sales/financial analyst provides a key support role to sales & analytics departments. This role’s primary focus is analysis & reporting of CPG retail level sales performance and the support of retailer meeting preparation.

ACCOUNTANT

Department: Accounting
Exemption Status: Exempt
Location: Dublin
Reports to: Senior Financial Accountant
Supports as Needed: Senior Financial Accountant, Plant Controller.

Also must ensure that all activities are closely coordinated with key constituents of other functions and activities within the accounting services group and the manufacturing facility. This includes active communication with sales & marketing and operations.


SUMMARY

Responsible for accounts payable management and processing, supplier relations, receipting, disbursements, and 1099 and other tax related matters. Assists with other accounting functions as required for Perio Inc. and Barbasol LLC.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Works with others in accounting and purchasing to collect and match invoices, purchase orders, goods received notices, and other documentation, and seeks internal approvals as necessary by company policy and practices.
  2. Reviews and processes supplier payments.
  3. Handles inquiries from suppliers and resolves any issues or discrepancies.
  4. Responsible for new supplier setup, including working with suppliers to obtain required forms and information, and accurately entering the information in the accounting system.
  5. Responsible for year-end preparation of 1099 reporting.
  6. Reconciles purchasing card purchases, and obtains proper approvals, receipting, and expense coding.
  7. Audits employee expense requests to ensure compliance with company policy.
  8. Tracks, reports, and files sales and use tax returns.
  9. Assists with company reporting.
  10. Participates in annual audit as part of audit team.
  11. Assists Senior Financial Accountant and Plant Controller with other accounting tasks as needed, including accounts receivable, inventory, general ledger, month-end items. Where possible, serves as back-up to other functions within accounting department.
  12. Participates in various special projects.
